With the central development tool Control plus Studio, you can build the structure for your machine project step by step - regardless of the control system manufacturer. You can integrate and parameterize your device objects using drag and drop, configure a process-specific machine visualization, define information services and diagnostic functions and generate your code. The central and unique data input for control, visualization and data management can reduce development times by up to 50 percent. In addition to the Control plus Studio development tool, the basic system offers a large number of encapsulated, tested and reusable objects. Well over 400 machine components are already modeled in the object library. These objects are managed in the library, regularly expanded via updates and kept up to date.

Efficient control software is necessary for the best possible machine utilization with minimal downtimes. This must take into account all the individual parameters of your production system and ensure that machines and systems run economically, stably and safely. The control software in the Control plus runtime environment executes the machine sequence and the processes in the machine. It adapts flexibly to hardware in a wide range of performance classes. From individual machines with manual operation to automated production lines, the standardized Control plus programming framework of the control software ensures that all Control plus machines behave in the same way. This makes machine operation much easier, as the operating personnel do not have to adapt to different software for each machine.

In the Control plus development environment, the machine visualization can be displayed fully integrated - for consistent and fast work during project creation. A standardized framework of objects is available for configuring the visualization, which can be easily placed using drag & drop. These include user administration, operating mode switching, language settings and error display. Thanks to user administration, the user interface can be adapted very easily to different role and user concepts. Control plus also enables the configuration of multiple user interfaces per machine. The HMI apps (Information Services) as optional components in the Control plus system close the gap between live data and historical values.

Our control-independent software system Control plus is an impressive engineering environment based on a modular principle. Control plus not only reduces development costs, but also makes the machines themselves more efficient and ensures transparency: machines based on Control plus can be easily integrated into existing IT infrastructures. The Control plus Machine Hub also enables manufacturer- and platform-independent data exchange with other IT systems. The Control plus Code Checker always keeps an eye on the quality of the software.

The great variety of automation technology leads to complex and heterogeneous control topologies: For example, subordinate subsystems are often used in image processing, robotics or measurement technology.
