The interoperability of the Nexeed Industrial Application System enables convenient and easy data exchange between the modules. Nevertheless, some use cases require additional access from third-party systems or external service providers. Direct external queries to module-specific databases pose challenges for IT administrators, especially in terms of process transparency and security. The Data Publisher therefore acts as a central gateway for the push-based data provision and provides a complete overview of outgoing data streams.

All the necessary steps for setting up a new external connection – creating a new target system, defining a data source, establishing an individual data stream – can be performed in the Data Publisher. Data is made available quickly, easily, and securely via public API (supported protocols Kafka and AMQP 1.0). The Data Publisher ensures optimum and easy-to-implement interoperability with internal and external systems while fully preserving module-specific database integrity
