Order Management

To ensure smooth manufacturing processes, production planners and machine operators need a tool to track and manage production orders at all times. This is exactly what the Order Management application was developed for. It supports the convenient and centralized management of production orders – across all lines. Once production orders have been created and distributed, they are usually processed sequentially according to the top-down principle. As soon as the order quantity is reached, the Order Management application automatically switches to the next order.

At the same time, an automatic changeover of the station can be initiated. Orders to the lines are created via the system's own order management client or via a connection to SAP order production. In the case of made-to-order production, each line or its stations automatically report back the current order progress for each part. Machine operators can view all planned, approved, and running orders on the user-friendly dashboard, including a progress indicator. This enables efficient production planning that can be flexibly adapted as needed, for example, through changes in the manufacturing sequence.
