Useful settings and functions for operators

The standardized operating concept of the Control plus HMI allows you to create an individualized user interface for all users and roles in the simplest way. Complex searches or accidentally changing the settings are a thing of the past: For example, maintenance engineers see only the information they need — and can only make changes for which they are authorized. In the case of a machine with several control positions or devices, each can be operated via an individual control interface. Thanks to this free scalability, employees, maintenance engineers and process engineers can access the machine data simultaneously and yet separately from each other. A lock prevents conflicts during operation: Only one control unit can actively perform movements, this specific function is blocked for others during that time.

Bosch mPad

Whether active or passive, with or without a camera – we have the right solution. With our mobile, wired mPad, the machine can be operated and monitored in a process-oriented manner. This makes implementation and troubleshooting easy. The integrated confirmation button allows machine functions to be carried out with bypassed safety devices. In its active version, the mPad has an integrated Intel® Atom™ processor and is linked to the control unit via Ethernet. An active version with a 5.04 megapixel CMOS color camera on the back is also available.
