T-Systems and Bosch Connected Industry: partnering for more standardization in data ecosystems
When two companies with similar interests join forces, the result is an exciting new offering for the manufacturing industry: Bosch Connected Industry and T-Systems recently entered into a partnership for digital twins and data spaces. T-Systems acts as a system integrator for connected data ecosystems. Bosch Connected Industry contributes the technology to manage the digital twins and make data exchangeable within the ecosystem.
In other words: T-Systems brings the “phone plug” for connected data ecosystems to the partnership; Bosch Connected Industry has the “telephone book” for digital twins in its repertoire, based on the Digital Twin Registry from the Bosch Semantic Stack portfolio. Both companies are actively involved in various open source and standardization projects relating to digital twins. The joint offering is intended to further advance the standardization of data ecosystems.
First use case: Catena-X
The new offering is tailored to large and medium-sized companies in the manufacturing industry. The first use case is the Catena-X network for automotive manufacturing. Here, the certified Digital Twin Registry from Bosch enables the management of many millions of digital twins. In future, T-Systems will integrate the Digital Twin Registry into its "Data Intelligence Hub (DIH)" for access to and interaction with data spaces and will offer it on the market as a further option within its portfolio.
