Bosch Connected Industry and :em AG enter into partnership for digital transformation with digital twins
Breaking new ground with partnerships and opening up new market access – that’s what :em engineering methods AG and Bosch Connected Industry are aspiring. Together, the two companies want to promote the use of digital twins in digital transformation in various industry sectors. The partnership combines the consulting expertise and experience of :em AG with the leading technology and industrial domain expertise of Bosch Connected Industry.
:em AG develops innovative methods and software solutions for engineering and advises customers on digitalization. As an integrator of IT systems, the company has a comprehensive cross-industry portfolio, which is now being expanded to include the Digital Twin Registry from Bosch Semantic Stack. :em AG is no stranger to Bosch: for instance, the experts are supporting Bosch Rexroth in the implementation of its PLM portal, a central database for the lifecycle management of products, which also uses Bosch Semantic Stack.
Focus on industry and rail technology
:em AG now offers the Digital Twin Registry as part of its broad portfolio. Initially, the focus is on the industrial sector and rail technology. By creating digital twins of trains and their components as well as the track environment, data management for rail traffic will become more transparent. Different data sources are brought together, and the data is standardized and managed in the Digital Twin Registry. This makes it easy to implement applications such as condition monitoring or predictive maintenance. Further applications will follow.
